iNFOTEZY

The journal was established in 2011 at the then Institute of Library Science and Journalism at Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce. The founder of – ‘Infotezy’ – an online scholarly periodical devoted to media and information science – was Dr. Adam Jachimczyk, who served as editor-in-chief until 2018. The staff of the Department of Journalism and Social Communication at the UJK in Kielce decided to continue publishing ‘Infotez’ in a slightly modified form from 2021 – after a two-year hiatus – while retaining the current range of topics. The willingness to cooperate with the journal, as members of the scientific council and reviewers, was expressed by representatives of scientific centers from Poland, Portugal and North Macedonia, related to the discipline – social communication sciences and media. The journalis addressed both to students and doctoral students entering the path of their scientific careers, as well as to people with scientific achievements and practitioners who conduct research work using their professional experience. ‘Infotezy’ is published as a semi-annual in June and December. The basic version of the journal is electronic (ISSN 2083-3652). The journal is also published in a limited print edition (ISSN 2720-006X).
